3-Die Sets (Groups B,
C,
E,
& F)
RCBS pioneered and developed the 3-Die Sets for straight-wall rifle
and pistol cases. In the 3-Die Set sizing and expanding (belling)
are done in separate dies. The 3-Die Set has a Sizer Die with Decapping
Unit, Expander Die for expanding and belling the case mouth and
a Seater Die with Bullet Seater Plug(s) for seating and crimping
the bullet. |
| Neck Die Sets (Groups
A
& D)
Neck Sizer Dies size only the neck of case (not the shoulder or
body) just enough to snugly hold the bullet. Neck Die Sets consist
of a Neck Sizer Die with Expander-Decapping Unit and a regular Seater
Die with Seater Plug. Neck Sizer Dies are also available individually.

RCBS Tungsten Carbide Die Sets (Groups
B,
C,
& E)
The Carbide Sizer Die eliminates the need for case lubrication and cases do not need to be cleaned before sizing. Carbide Die Sets consist of a Carbide Sizer Die with Decapping Unit, Expander Die for expanding and belling the case mouth, plus a Seater Die with Roll or Taper Crimp and Bullet Seater Plug. Carbide Sizer Dies are also available separately. Available in most popular handgun calibers and .30 M-1 Carbine. See die listings for caliber availability. Note: Due to the length of the 30 M-1 Carbine Carbide insert, every
fourth or fifth case should be lightly lubricated to eliminate sticking
cases. |
| Trim Dies
Doubles as a visual case length gauge; run a case into the Trim Die
and if the case sticks out above the top of the die, it's too long.
File the case down until it is flush with the top of the die. Then,
debur the case mouth with a Deburring Tool. To puchase, go to Reference
Chart for Die Group Selection and pricing. |

| Small Base Die Sets (Group A)
Small Base Sizer Dies are usually required for reloading ammunition to be used in automatic, semi-automatic, pump, slide and some lever-action rifles. These dies size the body of cases somewhat smaller in diameter and also set the shoulder back slightly more than a full length sizer die to ensure proper functioning in the actions of these rifles. Not recommended for ammunition used in bolt-action rifles. Small Base Set contains Small Base Sizer with Expander-Decapping Unit and regular Seater Die with Seater Plug. Small Base Sizer Dies also available individually. |
| X-Dies
The X-Sizer Die eliminates the need for repeated trimming after an initial trim is done to standardize the case. The die does not shorten the length of the case, but, as the case grows, the mandrel will reduce the growth rate. This is a result of the case mouth contacting the mandrel during sizing. Cases repeatedly sized in the X-Die will initially grow a few thousandths of an inch and then stabilize below the maximum case length. Using the X-Die eliminates the need to trim after each shot. X-Dies are available in sets containing an X-Sizer Die with mandrel-decapping assembly and standard seater die with bullet seater plug. The X-Sizer Die is also available separately. Standard 7/8-14 thread. See chart for calibers currently available for purchase. Look for many more new calibers coming soon! Full Set: $41.95 To Purchase go to X-Die Chart

Cowboy Action Shooting is just about the fastest growing shooting sport around. Not only are the usual competition traits of speed and accuracy required, but the shooter must recreate the spirit of the 1880's, guns, ammo and costumes and all! Jacketed bullets aren't permitted by |

rules. Making ammo that fits lead bullets. It also means that properly in lever-action rifles dies must be optimized for lead bullets. Dies and Bullet Moulds come in. |
|
RCBS Cowboy Dies are built to slightly different dimensions than their regular dies to allow optimum sizing, expanding, seating and crimping needed to load great lead bullet ammo. In keeping with the spirit of the game, Cowboy dies even look different. Instead of the satin steel finish on other RCBS dies, the Cowboy Dies go through a heat treatment that gives a more authentic appearance. Handsome brass lock rings and packaging reflecting the period, complete the picture. New Cowboy Moulds produce bullets that are profiled to give smooth feeding and follow the design of a century ago. Beveled crimping grooves set the proper cartridge length and improve consistency, and generous lube grooves hold enough lubricant even for black powder For pricing and calibers go to Cowboy Dies Chart |

.50 BMG Dies
Big boys toys! The dies are precision machined by the same craftsmen
that produce our Precisioneered(r) Reloading Dies. The Full Length
Sizer Die is drilled and reamed to the dimensions developed over the
years. Then each die is hand polished, heat treated and then repolished.
These massive dies are designed for use with the AmmoMaster Single
Stage Press with the .50 BMG Conversion Kit installed. All Dies listed
here are manufactured with 1-1/2"-12 thread. Full Length Die
Set includes Full Length Sizer Die with Expander-Decapping Unit and
Seater Die with Bullet Seater Plug. Trim Die is case hardened to prevent
damage to the Die when filing cases to length. Neck Sizer Die sizes
only the neck, not the shoulder and body. |
|
Note: .50 BMG Dies with the 1-3/8"-12
thread for use with the RCBS Big Max Press are listed separately.

extra leverage for smooth, effortless neck expansion, maximum concentricity
between die neck and body, and a seater die with micrometer for super
accurate bullet seating head depth in increments of 0.001". Bullet
inserts through a side window instead of bottom of die and a special
bullet-seating guide ensures correct bullet alignment before and after
seating. Extended shell holder required for shorter cartridges. |
