Redding Dies

Redding Titanium Carbide Pistol Dies

Titanium carbide differs considerably from tungsten carbides, and is the ideal material for resizing cartridge cases. The difference is in the microscopic structure. Tungsten carbide, if viewed under a microscope, appears as sharp irregular micrograins, regardless of how well the surface is finished. Titanium Carbide grains appear smooth and rounded for a slippery non-galling surface that is simply unattainable with other carbides and has the higest hardness of any readily available carbide.

Redding Pro Series Die Sets
In Titanium Carbide

The Pro Series, for use in progressive reloading machines, is a specially prepared three die set. Since the most popular machines do not make use of an expander die, it has been eliminated. The sizing die is the extraordinary Redding Titanium Carbide, complete with a decapping unit.

A superiorcrimp can be accomplished if it is done in a separate operation fromt he bullet eating. For this reason, the Pro Series bullet seating die is designed for bullet seating only, with no crimping feature. The Profile Crimp die is supplied for the final crimping. For cartridges that headspace on the case mouth, a Taper Crimp die is substituted.

All dies in the set have a special large radius at the mouth for easy case entry - a helpful feature for progressive machines.

Competition Bullet Seating Die

The patented Redding Competition Die design has beat the concentricity problems inherent in all other seating dies of this type. With tighter manufacturing tolerances, the bullet guide to seating stem fit is so precise, the seating stem can actually be demonstrated to float on a column of air.

The seating stem is precision ground to exactly match bullet diameter. Alignment and accuracy are enhanced by the cartridge case and bullet being completely supported and aligned in a close fitting, precision ground sleeve before the bullet seating begins.

The micrometer is calibrated in .001" increments for precise seating depth and is infinitely adjustable. It also has a zero feature that allows you to zero the micrometer to your rifle or favorite seating depth

Competition Bullet Seating Die
for Handgun and Straight-Wall Rifle Cases

"The Most Advanced Bullet Alignment Available"

Advanced Bullet Alignment feature assures the straightest possible bullet alignment for handgun and straight-walled rifle cartridges. The Micrometer adjustment simplifies setting and recording bullet seating depth. Simply "dial in" to previous seating depths for different loads. In line with top competitive practices, this die performs no crimping, which is best done on a seperate die for maximum performance.

Compatible with all popular reloading presses with a standard 7/8 - 14 thread.
